Band Plays Concert for Ukrainian Relief at Parma Library

Thu 2/23 @ 7-8PM

The U4U band is making its debut performance this week at the Cuyahoga County Public Library’s Parma Snow Branch to draw attention to a cause close to the heart of many Parma residents(and Clevelanders): the suffering of Ukrainians due to the Russian invasion. Parma has the largest Ukrainian population of any Ohio community, and is home to four ornate Ukrainian Catholic churches; in 2009, the city government dubbed a stretch of State Road “Ukrainian Village.”

“A Concert for Ukraine” will make the year anniversary of the Russian invasion, and solicits donations to help support Ukrainians here and abroad. Go here to register. The concert is free. if you can’t attend, you can make a donation here.
