Sip & Sparkle at Cleveland Museum of Natural History Raises Money for Campers

Fri 5/3 @ 6-8:30PM

It’s that fundraiser time of year, and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History gets in on the game with their “Sip & Sparkle” evening at the museum.

The museum’s Women’s Committee invites people to wear some “festive bling” and join them for an evening focused on gems. There’ll be an education component: Dr. David Saja, curator of Mineralogy, will led a tour of the museum’s GEM Hall and there’ll be a chance to see the Jeptha Homer Wade II Gem Collection with its unusually colored diamonds.

There’ll also be sparkling bling to bid on as well as other prizes including a photography package, one-of-a-kind sculpture and a Natural Areas Field Trip for ten through a virgin forest in Ashtabula County.

Zack Bruell catering will provide appetizers, wine & beer. Tickets are $50 and $100. Proceeds benefit scholarships to CMNH’s camps for kids who might otherwise not be able to have that experience.
