The legendary Numbers Band is bringing it all back home this weekend, blocks from where it started in the summer of 1970 in Kent, Ohio.
Kent’s Numbers Band (aka 15-60-75) will have been playing for 53 years this summer, and they still continue to excite area audiences and attract new fans with the unique, edgy blend of rock, jazz and blues. Vocalist/guitarist/songwriter/band leader Robert Kidney may not be as frenetic as he once was but he’s still charismatic and riveting. His multi-instrumentalist brother Jack and sax player Terry Hynde have been with him for 50 years as well, while many other members have come and gone. The current band also includes Bill Watson on bass and Clint Alguire on drums.
Tickets are $20 and worth every penny.
