Waterloo Arts’ current exhibition Without Commercial Interruption features three artists who use their work to challenge viewers to reflect on the black body and how it is viewed and treated. Cleveland-based video/installation artist and photographer Donald Black Jr., Cleveland photographer/videographer Amber Ford and Chicago-based Cleveland Institute of Art alum artist Martinez E-B have filled the gallery with provocative pieces in a variety of media.
Now they’ll join CAN Journal editor Michael Gill at the gallery for an artist talk on the arts, race and police violence. It’s free.
