Loganberry Books is stretching out its Author Alley into multiple events, one of which is its Author Alley Broadsides and Ephemera Poetry Extravaganza on Thursday August 12 in the store.
It kicks off at 4pm with Doc Janning, followed by Barbara Sobol, Laura Grace Weldon, Randy Rosko and Marcus Holmes, each getting the stage for 15 minutes. From 5:15-5:45, it’s open mic time — bring your own work to share. There’s a break from 5:45-6pm when you know you’ll be browsing and buying a few books you hadn’t planned on, before reading resume with the Lake Erie Ink Teen Showcase from 6-6:30pm. Emily Troia, Diane Vogel Ferri Ann Swidler, Kisha Nicole Foster and Isaac Pickeli wrap things up.
Then, if you love fiction, come back on Saturday for the Author Alley event devoted to that genre. Meet 20 different authors including Paul McLain, Abby Collette, Alex DiFrancesco, and many more.
Both events are free and open to all.
