The whole “Galentine” thing is catching on in a big way, with special events aimed at those who’d rather hang out with friends on Valentine’s Day than sit home and feel sorry for themselves for not being partnered.
Among the places offering an evening of fun for the uncoupled is the new Ohio City Gallery, which features four start-up restaurants under one roof. Their Galentine event, in partnership with Copper & Kings American Brand, will feature special cocktails, music provided by DJ Candi Fresca and of course, a choice of four distinctive menus to order from. And 10% of sales from the Copper & Kings menu will benefit the Cleveland APL so that next Valentine’s Day, more people will have a cuddly cat or dog to snuggle with.
