Ekphrastacy is a regular event at Heights Arts in Cleveland Heights, occurring during the run of every art exhibition there. It combines comments by the artists on their work with poets reacting to the work — in poetry, of course.
There’ll be another layer to this month’s Ekphrastacy, responding the show Dual Duel. It’s a group show featuring work by visual artists who are also musicians, and apparently some of them will be adding their (musical) input.
The Cleveland Heights Poet Laureate hosts the event and this will be outgoing poet laureate Ray McNiece’s final night hosting. He’ll be joined by guest poets Raja Belle Freeman, Cameron Gordon and Doc Janning.
