Oberlin’s Soul Proprioters Roll Out New CD to Close the Barn Season at Riverdog Retreat

Fri 10/19 @ 7:30PM

Oberlin’s Soul Proprioters, formed in 2006, have long been a favorite at Riverdog Barn where they regularly rip it up each season with their danceable, high-energy amalgamation of jazz, funk, blues, R&B, folk and classic rock. According to the Riverdog folks, they’ve probably played there more than any other act.

So it’s appropriate that they’ll be closing the barn season (before the concerts move inside to the gallery) with the release show for their album Leave a Trace that will give their fans something to take home after the lights go down and the dance floor empties. (And tables and chairs will be cleared from a third of the barn to make room for dancing!)

Lorenzo’s wood-fired pizza will again be onsite with their $9 pies, but of course, you can bring your own cooler and picnic basket.

It’s $15 at the gate (which opens at 6pm); students are $5.
