Slowly, live music is starting to come back, in small, socially distanced doses.
This weekend, for instance, a pair of local bands will perform at Akron’s Rialto Theatre in a hybrid virtual/in-person concert. It featured Akron quartet Passed Euphoria, whose leader Dave Barbusci organized the show; they’ll be showcasing their new single “Couldn’t Be Better,” along with more of their own tunes and homages to classic ’50s rockers Chuck Berry and Eddie Cochran.
Joining them is Cleveland’s Guy Snowdon & the Citizens, who’ll share their own British-influenced original music released in the past year, including singles “Hammer Falls” and “Runaway” and a live EP.
Attendance in the Rialto Theatre is limited to 40 people and tickets are sold out. But you can also catch the event on Facebook Live here.
