Pop the champagne! Cleveland’s longest-running burlesque company is celebrating its 15th anniversary. Formerly Le Femme Mystique, it’s changed its name to Cleveland Burlesque as part of building upon its already stellar history, and producing an anniversary show at the Beachland Ballroom Fri 3/29.
But first, it all kicks off with a special edition of its monthly Burlesco showcase at the Alex Theatre at the 9 downtown. Burlesque and drag acts will share the stage for a full evening of entertainment, including Scarlett Chaton, Bon Bon Voyage, Luna Sea, Mz Juicy Jem, Miss Holly Grail and Cleveland Burlesque founder Bella Sin. Popular local drag queen Samantha Echo hosts.
Tickets are $20 in advance at the Alex Theater website, $25 for preferred seating. VIP tables are available as well and there’s an after-show reception in the Vault.
