Interdisciplinary Artist Bridget Moser Makes Her Installation Come to Life in SPACES Performance

Wed 4/17 @ 5:30 & 7PM

Toronto artist Bridget Moser’s interdisciplinary work incorporates video, film, dance, experimental theater, sound and prop comedy. She has been in residence at SPACES since the beginning of March, creating a new piece onsite called You Opened That Can Now Let’s Eat the Whole Thing.

You can see the results of her work starting with the opening reception Fri 4/12 @ 6-9pm. But if you’d like to see her live performance that augments the gallery installation, come back on Wed 4/17 where she’ll be doing the 25-minute performance twice, at 5:30 and 7pm

Visitors are told that “Moser will work with a cast of props including self massage tools, a personal comfort pillow in the shape of an arm, platform crocs, rubber gloves and more, delivering a series of monologues and abstract gestures alongside sound compositions, pop music, opera classics and other noises.

It’s free and open to all, and there will be a post-show talkback with the artists following the 7pm performance.
