Fri 9/30 @ 7:30PM
The Music Box Supper Club’s Series of Immersive Sound Listening Parties continues with two albums that rocked the rock and roll world in the early 70s: 1971’s Led Zeppelin IV (the album that featured Stairway to Heaven,” as well as “Black Dog,” “Misty Mountain Hop” and “Rock and Roll” and is its best-selling album), and Houses of the Holy, released in early 1973, featuring tracks such as “The Rain Song,” “The Crunge” and “Dancing Days.”
The Music Box launched its monthly Immersive Sound Listening Party series last year after installing a new $100,000 immersive sound system using technology developed in Cleveland by Frank Foti of Telos Alliance (and chief engineer at WMMS in its heyday), adding new processing equipment, speakers and amps to the club’s existing sound system.
Doors open at 6 pm for dinner; music starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
