Mon 7/13-Fri 7/17
It’s the 26th year for the Medina County Art’s Councils Arts week. But as with most events, it won’t be a normal year. The show is going on, but in virtual form: it’ll be sharing a variety of performances in twice-daily online broadcasts Monday July 13 through Friday July 17.
“We are excited about continuing the 36-year tradition of bringing local performers and artists to the Medina County community with our annual Arts Week in July, says MCAC president Linda Loveless. “The difference is, this year, everyone can enjoy it from the comfort of their homes.”
On Wednesday July 15 at noon, Kelly Parks and the students from the Medina Centre for Dance Arts take the stage. Veteran NE Ohio folksinger, Jim Gill, a Medina resident, gets the 7:30pm slot. On Thursday July 16, acoustic guitarist Nick Elkevizth performs, with classic rock sing-along duo Parsons and Polk (pictured) at 7:30pm. Kim States brings her students from KS Vocal Studios on Friday July 17 @ noon, and Bobby Laverty of Bobby Ray & Night Train closes things with some blues @ 7:30pm.
The broadcasts happen at noon and 7:30pm on MCAC’s Facebook page. Facebook.com/MedinaCountyArtsCouncil. They’re open to all.
