The Bruno Casiano Gallery, opened in 2002, is one of the arts anchors and pioneers of the now burgeoning Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood. In that time it has shown Casiano’s work along with that of many other contemporary artists.

This month, to mark Hispanic Heritage Month, the gallery will feature 30 years of its owner’s own vibrant, bustling work. There will be almost two dozen older pieces and recent work by Casiano, who studied art in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and at the Cleveland Institute of Art. It opens with a free, public reception Fri 10/14 @ 6-10pm.
