Fri 7/20 @ 7PM-midnight
You don’t have to wait until September 28-30 to bathe in the creative vibe of Cleveland’s annual Ingenuity festival. This week, at the Hamilton Collaborative where its IngenuityLabs is based, it will be hosting the Ingenuity Spotlight Soiree, a celebration of the opening of Fire and Light Performing Arts’s studio at IngenuityLabs, and a fundraiser for both Fire and Light and Ingenuity’s year-round programming.
Throughout the evening you’ll get to sample Fire and Light’s “Flow Art,” which combines dance and prop manipulation, shop artist/vendors, dance to the music of local DJs and check out the artwork and activities going on at IngenuityLabs.
Donation levels range from $5-$50, though no one will be turned away because they can’t pay. (You may find yourself pressed into volunteering though!) It’s an all-ages event, though kids must be accompanied by a grownup. You can wear anything from jeans to a lavish costume, but come prepared for a creative experience.
