Music Photographer Shows and Talks About Her Work at Cleveland Photo Fest

Joan Jett @ Tower City Amphitheater by Anastasia Pantsios

Fri 11/25 @ 7PM

The Cleveland Photo Fest, which opened Friday November 18 and runs through the end of December, features four galleries full of photos, contributed by area high school and college students, noted local photographers, and people around the world who submitted images for the “One Million Photos” panels containing hundreds of tiny images (Magnifying glasses are available at the door.)

The galleries are open each weekend but the ideal time to come is Friday evening when Cleveland Photo Fest will have special programming.

It kicks off on Friday November 25 with “Shooting Stars” by music photographer Anastasia Pantsios. She’ll show images of the superstars she’s photographed, talk about what was involved in getting those images, and even share some fun backstage stories. Q&A? You bet! She’ll also have her book Girls to the Front: 40 Years of Women in Rock, based on her 2017 Rock Hall show of the same name, available for signing after the program.

It’s free and open to all.
