Local Theater Critic & Playwrights Talk About Impact of Pandemic on Live Theater

Thu 3/18 @ 7PM

Bob Adelman is a longtime theater reviewer who writes for the Cleveland Jewish News. Last year he published a lightly fictionalized humorous book about the travails of being a theater critic-turned-actor (temporarily) called All the World’s a Stage Fright.

Adelman will be moderating a panel of noted area playwrights whose work he presumably hasn’t beaten up too badly — George Brant, Eric Coble and Lisa Langford. They’re be talking about the impact of the pandemic on theater, how theaters have used a virtual model to continue to connect with their audiences, and how live theater will look once the pandemic is over.

The event is technically free but a $36 optional ticket gets you a one-year print & twice-daily digital subscription to the Cleveland Jewish News. Go here to register.
