One of the most distinctive Ukrainian folk arts is its hand-decorated Easter eggs, called pysanky. If you’d like to pick up some of these traditional crafts, the Ukrainain Museum-Archives is hosting its annual Easter Bazaar this weekend at Pokrova Ukrainian Greco-Catholic Church in Parma.
You’ll find the eggs and other Ukrainian handcrafted items there, and the church will be serving ethnic food. If you’re inspired to try your own hand at creating pysanky, the Ukrainian Museum-Archives has the supplies for sale all year.
