Local musician Meganne Stepka demonstrates her versatility and adaptability all the time, performing as a solo artist and as a member of the band Meg & the Magnetosphere. She has also modeled for local designers and curated a stage at Ingenuity. She’s also hosted the Manic Monday open mic nights at Kelley’s Pub in Lakewood.
Obviously, none of those are happening for a while, at least not in person. But to bring musicians and listeners together, she’s launched an ongoing virtual open mic night called Not Just Another Manic Monday Open Mic Night, taking place on Mondays at 9pm.
She’ll be posting the link each Monday at 9pm or you can email her at megstepka@ gmail.com. You’ll need to install Zoom and get the password, and she’s asking that folks click on “going” so she can know if you’re interested. Up to 100 people can attend. For those who want to sign up — she’s estimating she can fit in up to 2 acts performing three songs each — she’ll put up a sign-up sheet on Sunday.
