It was a little more than a year ago that we lost longtime CoolCleveland columnist Mansfield Frazier, who was a well-known (and outspoken) civic activist in the Hough community.
One of the projects he was best known for was Chateau Hough, his vineyard and winery. It provided job training, counseling and work to people returning from prison under the umbrella of his nonprofit Neighborhood Solutions Inc, which he founded in 2004.
While Mansfield is gone, his work is still being carried on, and you can contribute to his legacy. NSI is hosting its “un-gala” through the end of the year. Just pick a day as a day of service or do something you enjoy, either alone to with family and friends. Then make a donation to NSI on that day; all donations are tax-deductible.
