Bash on the Bay at Put-in-Bay Features Two Headliners with 34 #1 Hits

Wed 8/24-Thu 8/25 @ 3PM

Usually midweek is the peaceful time at Put-in-Bay in the Lake Erie Islands. The partiers haven’t arrived yet, and you’ll mostly find families moseying down Delaware Avenue, checking out the attractions at Perry’s Cave Family Fun Center or learning about the lake at the Aquatic Visitors Center

But not this week! That’s because the Bash on the Bay is back, taking place at the South Bass Island Airport on Langram Road. It’s two straight days of country music, headlined by a couple of big names: cowboy hat-sporting singer/songwriter Brad Paisley, who had a stream of # country singles from 1996 through the early 2010s, on Wednesday and Atlanta’s Zac Brown Band, who had their own string of #1 country singles starting in 2008, on Thursday. Altogether that’s 34 #1 hits you could hear from the two acts.

Paisley’s support acts include Jake Owen, Blanco Brown, Paulina Jayne and Hubie Ashcraft Band. On the bill with the Zac Brown Band are Chris Janson, Morgan Evans, David Graham & The Eskimo Brothers.

The Miller Ferry Dock is within walking distance (1/4 of a mile) from the airport. “You’ll be able to hear the music from the sound checks as you walk off the ferry!” they say. Miller Ferry will be running late ferries off the island after the concerts until midnight.
