Storytellers Shares Tales of “Feast” at Story Club Cleveland

Thu 11/10 @ 7:30PM

Story Club Cleveland is thinking ahead to Thanksgiving with this month’s theme, which is feast (or famine?)

“When we gather we are chiefly concerned about food when we gather,” they say. “Because regardless of how weird your uncle makes it, pie is always good. And awkward dinners make for good stories!  Join us this Thursday as we discuss what happens when folks come together to feast.”

As usual, there’ll be several featured performers, this month comedian Deena Nyer-Mendolwitz and artist Michael Pomerantz. They’ll be followed by three slots for audience members who signup; if more than three want the slots, they’ll draw straws. (Stories should be eight minutes or 1,300 words.) signup is at 7pm.

As usual, Story Club Cleveland founder Dana Norris hosts the evening, which takes place at CLE Urban Winery in Cleveland Heights. Admission is $10; they’ll be selling snacks so bring money if you want to munch. Go here for tickets.
