Cleveland’s Secret Soul Club DJs are encouraging bad behavior. With the school year just starting, they’re urging you to come out to a “cutting’ class” dance party at the Five O’Clock Lounge.
There you can hit the dance floor to their array of soul, R&B, mod and girl group classics and obscurities, straight off 45s. There’ll be dance contests giving you a chance to win Secret Soul Club totes and pins, mix CDs and tickets to the Beachland.
“Forget your homework and come play hooky with us out on the floor,” they exhort. They hold their monthly dance party on the last Friday of each month, and it’s free.
