No Exit New Music Presents NY Ensemble in Multimedia Piece

Sat 4/2 @ 8PM

Once again Cleveland’s No Exit No Music is acting as a presenting, bringing to town an ensemble doing something distinctive and adventurous. The New York-based chamber ensemble Unheard-of, whose goal of commissioning new music and making it accessible to audiences is similar to No Exit’s, will be bringing a piece called Fire Ecologies to SPACES. Created by composer Christopher Stark and video artist Zlatko Ćosić on a cross-continental trip to gather audio and video for a multimedia piece, Fire Ecologies features recordings from the historic 2020 California wildfires.

Unheard-of’s musicians include clarinetist Ford Fourqurean, violinist Matheus Souza, cellist Issei Herr and pianist Daniel Anastasio; they  currently serve as the Klingler Electro-Acoustic Residency ensemble at Bowling Green State University for 2021-2022

All No Exit programs are free and open to all. Masks are required.
