The next show at the Yards Project in the Warehouse District’s Worthington Yards apartment is called “A Day in the Life” and takes its name from the Beatles’ 1967 song of that name.
Just as the song took a musical collage approach to the thoughts and feelings experiences on a particular day, so the artists in the show also respond to the occurrences of a day, using collage, assemblage and mixed media a habit or ritual, a daily walk, even a daydream.
The artists include Kole Robinson Brooks, Bruce Checefsky (work pictured), Mallorie Freeman, Patti and Ray Juaire, Michael Loderstedt, Christine Mauersberger, Jason Milburn, Raheleh Mohammad, Bellamy Printz, Juliette Thimmig, Arnie Tunstall and Gina Washington.
The opening reception takes place Thu 10/24 @ 6-9pm; it includes a performance by Gina Brooklyn.
