Any of the Cleveland Print Room’s 450 members can submit work for its Off the Wall Showcase. So you’ll get to see a full range of what is currently interesting the area’s photo enthusiasts when the 4th annual show opens on Friday. A variety of subjects, abstract and figurative images, digital and film, and antique processes are all likely to crop up in this non-juried show featuring more than 100 works hung salon-style. You can purchase them and take them with you.

“The works represented will come from a vast array of styles and photographic techniques,” says Cleveland Print room director Shari Wilkins. “We again expect anything from 35mm B&W to 19th-century collodion, cyanotype, VanDyke Brown, and salt-print techniques to photogravure, pinhole, and the latest museum-quality digital prints, plus everything in between. Our members are known for their alternative process works.”

In addition, there will be the Multiple Exposure exhibition showcasing the work of Cleveland students using instant film to learn photography. The shows will be on display through Fri 12/16, including Sat 12/3 and Sun 12/4 during the ArtCraft Building’s Holiday Sale.
