Grammy-Nominated Tennessee Bluegrass Band Plays Oberlin’s Riverdog Barn

Thu 6/23 @ 7:30PM

The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys are the type of act that fits Oberlin’s Riverdog Barn like a glove. Straight out of the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, they’re deeply rooted in the bluegrass sounds of the region. Originally formed in 2014 to be the house band at a local distillery, the hard-touring ensemble has served as ambassadors for bluegrass, performing across the U.S. and Europe in all types of venues. Along the way they snagged a Grammy nomination for their debut album Toil, Tears and Trouble, which they followed up early this year with a new album, Never Slow Down.

They’ll be at Riverdog this week. As usual, you can bring your own cooler and picnic basket. Tickets are $25. Go here to reserve your spot.
