Berea Arts Fest Offers a Day of Art Shopping, Music, Food & Kids’ Fun

Sun 9/11 @ 10AM-5PM

The Berea Arts Fest returns this year for the 32nd year to showcase around 100 outstanding artists and craftspeople on Front Street in downtown Berea, a chance to shop early for holiday presents and chat with the people who made them. The Festival committee is especially proud to encourage and support creative people in the community and students of all ages. And art raffle offers the opportunity to win art donated by these artists. A special exhibits are will feature work by students of all ages from throughout northeast Ohio.

Yes, of course there’ll be food, both food trucks and booths offering food from downtown Berea restaurants, with eating areas where you can sit and enjoy. To keep the kids from getting bored as you have a long conversation with a textile artist about looms, there’s the Kids Kreation Station with hands-on projects for kids to work on, as well as easel painting and — you guessed it! — face painting.

There’s also a main stage featuring bands such as  1N2ITIV3 (10-11am), the jammy JiMiller Band (11:30am-12:30pm, funky psych-rock band Camel Butter (1-2pm), swing/jazz ensemble Red Light Roxy (2:30-3:30pm), and percussion-driven Latin-style band Hello3D (4-5pm); and a solo stage, while JoyUnspeakable the Human Statue and demo artist Anthony Kleem will be doing their thing all day.
