Cleveland Mayoral Forum Addresses Environmental Issues

Wed 7/21 @ 5:30-7PM

A lot of people I’ve been talking to seem genuinely perplexed about the candidates running for mayor of Cleveland. And voters haven’t had to exercise the choosing muscles in 16 years, with Mayor Jackson serving an unprecedented four terms.

So any information about the candidates ought to be lapped up by voters. And all seven candidates have been invited to take part in an upcoming forum called “For a Healthier and More Equitable Environment.” It’s focused on issues such as clean air and water, clean sustainable energy sources, land use, infrastructure, diverse and equitable transportation options, and environmental justice.
Each candidate will have the chance to give opening remarks, followed by questions from community members and environmental advocates. The forum will be streamed on Zoom which you can access on your own or at watch parties sponsored by groups throughout the city.

You can submit a question in writing or by uploading a video to https://forms.gle/VfP2kdtR38Zj7oe67.

Register for the event  at clemayoralforumonenvironment.eventbrite.com.

It’s free and open to all.
