Do you have that one annoying friend on Facebook who insists there is NO PROOF that masks work and that they are being forced on people as a form of control?
Make them watch this five-minute video by engineer and creative mind Ian Charnas who’s the director of innovation and technology at Case Western Reserve’s Sears [think]box. (He’s also the mastermind behind the Tesla Orchestra, which performs at the Ingenuity Festival). He explains how masks work in terms any layman or kid can understand, demonstrating why wearing a mask and staying six feet away actually work.
“The really great thing about science is you don’t have to take my work for it,” he tells viewers “Great science can be reproduced. .. you can replicate this at home and prove that masks and social distancing really do work.”
