CMNH Series Offers Four-Course Dinner & a Look at Why We Are What We Eat

Fri 4/29 @ 6:30PM

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History has spent the year celebrating its 100th anniversary with its Centennial Soiree Series.  And this week it’s celebrating with very special event.

It features a four-course dinner created by Spice Catering’s Natalie Blake, with wine pairings by Greg Miller. We’re assuming the meal will feature healthy foods (they add that special diets, such as vegan and gluten-free, can be accommodated) because the program’s theme is human health and nutrition. CMNH curators Dr. Nicole Burt, Dr. Brian Redmond and Dr. Gavin Svenson will offer a look at how the environment has affected the evolution of cuisine, and how culture, genetics and the availability of resources impact how we choose what we eat.
