The Cleveland Print Room has been hosting its annual juried Peer Show since it opened a decade ago. Recently, it’s expanded to be open to all mediums of visual art, not just photography, and it accepts entries from across the country, as well as Cleveland.
This year it will be on view from July 2-August 21, and it is currently accepting submissions, through May 28. Each artist may submit up to two pieces. Up to 50 pieces will be chosen by the jurors to be displayed in an online show on CPR’s website, and the winners of the Best of Show and Director’s Award will get a joint exhibition at the Cleveland Print Room in 2022. Artists will be notified by midnight Wednesday June 16 @ midnight.
This year’s jurors are Courtenay A. Barton, program director for the Arts & Culture Racial Equity Initiatives at the Cleveland Foundation; Peter J. Cohen, a New York-based collector of snapshots and vernacular photography; and Andrea Gyorody, an independent curator, art historian, editor and critic.
