Sun 9/19 @ 1PM
Pat Harris’ huge voice with its huge range traverses genres easily. She’s sung jazz, classical and pop music. She’s performed at Tri-C JazzFest and with the Cleveland Orchestra. She’s performed for Bill Clinton at the White House and stood in front of the Statehouse in Columbus singing to a crowd advocating for women’s rights. And she’s sung the National Anthem for all three of Cleveland’s major league sports teams. She’s also an actress and an educator, one of the gifted artists who make northeast Ohio such a fertile creative region.
She’ll be closing Cain Park’s unusual season when she and her quartet take the stage at its Evans Amphitheatre for a free concert. Yes, the season usually ends in mid-August but due to the pandemic, it didn’t start until July so it’s ending late. Consider it an unexpected pandemic bonus, sponsored by the Local 4 Music Fund and the Music Performance Trust Fund. You don’t have to register; just show up. There’s plenty of room for social distancing at the covered outdoor venue.
