The annual Taste of the Browns fundraiser for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, now in its 23rd year, is making a move this year — over to the Cleveland Metropark Zoo’s Amphitheatre and Australian Adventure that changes up the format of this event (formerly held at the lakefront stadium) to make it a family-friendly event.
As usual, there’ll be food provided by local restaurants, including Barrio, Deagan’s Kitchen, Fahrenheit, Flour, Lago East Bank and Momocho; football players to mingle with; and a silent auction featuring football memorabilia among other things (you can also bid on the items online). But there’ll also be small animal encounters, with zoo admission included in the ticket price.
Tickets are $75 for adults, $25 for ages 3-17. Kids 2 and under are free. This is the Food Bank’s major fundraising event and will help them meet the needs of hungry people around the region.
