Come for this performance of Hook & Smee (a Tale of Never Never Land) at Talespinner Children’s Theatre, and get more than just the chance to see the interactive, multi-production production, a Peter Pan prequel that tells the story of how Captain Hook met his sidekick Smee and how they assembled the band of pirates that terrorized Peter and his friends.
On this day only, the performance will be followed by a free “stay and play” workshop. The cast and Talespinner’s teachers will lead kids in games with a pirate theme, and there’ll be hands-on crafts as well. Your child may very well leave demanding to be enrolled in one of Talespinner’s classes, which introduce kids to various aspects of theater.
Tickets are $10 for kids 12 and under; $15 for adults; $12 for seniors and college students with ID. The show runs Fridays-Sundays through Sun 12/18.
