Cleveland Print Room Hosts Its Annual Foto Brunch Fundraiser

Close Up of Old Fashioned Camera Lens with Aperture and Focal Length Settings

Sun 10/16 @ 11AM-2PM

In its five years, the nonprofit Cleveland Print Room has done amazing work in keeping traditional film photography available to artists and teaching it to new generations of photographers with its communal darkroom, its classes and workshops and its community outreach including to kids.

It’s also championed photography of all types with the diverse shows that have hung in its gallery. And it’s hosted collaborations including with artist Blessing Ngobeni from South Africa who was in Cleveland as part the Cleveland Foundation’s Creative Fusions program.

It fuels its work in part with its annual Foto Brunch, taking place at Mahall’s 20 Lanes. It will feature food from Akron’s Hollyhock Hill catering, along with French toast from Lakewood’s Breadsmith. The event also includes a cash bar, 50/50 raffles and silent auctions including photos donated by celebrated NYC vernacular photography collector Peter J Cohen, whose photos comprised a show at the Cleveland Print Room this past spring. (Cleveland Print Room founder Shari Wilkins is also a devotee of the genre.)

Tickets are $25 or $10 for under 18. A $50 patron tickets also includes a Cleveland Print Room mug. Purchase tickets here.
