The time to see shows at the old SPACES Gallery on Superior Viaduct is growing short, as the build-out has started on the new gallery over on Detroit Road next to the Bop Stop.
So hurry out to see the three new projects which open with a reception tonight. Los Angeles-based artist Tim Schwartz will debut a new piece looking at how our digital devices meld with our identities. Portland, Oregon’s Yaelle S. Amir has curated Hidden Assembly, looking at what has happened to labor in the digital age. And Moving Anthropologies features video by three Portuguese artists.
The opening reception is free and open to all. Afterward, everyone’s invited to head over to the Duck Island Club for an afterparty with the artist. 10% of the alcohol sales will be donated to SPACES.
