New York-based jazz guitarist/composer/educator Alex Wintz is a relatively new presence in the music scene. He just released his debut album LifeCycle last year, and is starting to gain a buzz in the jazz community for his accessible yet adventurous music. He’s already collaborated with a variety of respected established musicians and played such major events as the Newport, Montreux and Montreal Jazz Festivals.
Now’s your chance to catch this star on the rise when he performs at the BOP STOP with a trio that also includes bassist Dave Baron and drummer Jimmy MacBride.
