Kent’s Numbers Band Is Back from Pandemic Hiatus

Sat 7/3 @ 8-11PM

Almost exactly 51 years ago, Kent’s Numbers Band aka 15-60-756 played its first gig at the Kove in Kent. Last year they weren’t able to celebrate 50 years of making their distinctively unsettling blend of rock, jazz and blues, alas.

So join them now as they play their firs post-pandemic show at Kent’s Venice Café (the Kove is no more). Vocalist/guitarist/songwriter/band leader Robert Kidney may have lost a tiny bit of his no-holds-barred performance energy, but he’s still charismatic and riveting. Among other members, he’s still joined by his multi-instrumentalist brother Jack and sax player Terry Hynde, who have been in the band nearly 50 years themselves. They’re promising “two long sets of music,” starting at 8.

There’s no cover so you can buy another beer.
