Akron-based vocalist/rapper/producer/songwriter Jul Big Green is a versatile, multi-genre performer who pops up all over the place, frequently showing up onstage with other artists. He’s collaborated with such area artists as Tropidelic and Nathan-Paul & the Admirables.
He’s hosting a Two Nights Before Christmas show at Cleveland Heights’ B-Side Liquor Lounge under the Grog Shop to help out the Boys’ and Girls’ Club of Cleveland: donate a new, wrapped toy anytime the week of the show and get a free ticket plus a free drink ticket. Tickets are the door are $5 or a canned food donation.
Then you get an evening of music headlined by Jul Big Green, and also featuring singer/songwriter/bassist/guitarist Kim Haffey whose music includes pop, jazz standards and “soulful originals,” and Tee Willis.
Door are at 8pm; show starts at 9. It’s 21 and over.
