Remember in 2016 when a guy who founded a group called Latinos for Trump darkly predicted that if Trump wasn’t elected there would be “taco trucks on every corner”? It turned out most people didn’t find this as scary as he did, with many online wags asking if the corner by their house could be at the top of the list.
So don’t expect people to flee in horror from the Cleveland Taco Fest, taking place for three days at the Agora. The more than a dozen taco trucks expected to be present will likely be mobbed all day as attendees fuel up and wash them down with some of the more than 30 types of tequila, a signature cocktail or Mexican beer. There’ll be taquitos, burritos and nachos as well, with copious vegetarian options.
The event will also feature live music, contests and vendors. Admission is $5 per day or $10 for the weekend. Hildren 12 and under are free. Get tickets at tacofestcle.com.
