Each summer, LakewoodAlive hosts its Front Porch concerts in front of the Lakewood Public Library. That season ended more than a month ago, but they’re extending it a little longer with a Front Porch Concert Pop-Up, taking place in Madison Park.
There you can set up your chair or spread your blanket in front of the pavilion and enjoy some free music. From 6:30-7pm, Madison Cummins will perform music that blends folk and both indie and classic rock styles. She has two albums out, the most recent one being her 2020 album Antidote, recorded with Canton band Hey Monea!.
She’ll be followed from 7-8pm by Lea Marra & the Dream Catchers. The quartet creates a nuanced sound with instruments such as violin, mandolin and banjo, in addition to guitar, bass and drums.
The concert is free.
