Cleveland History Days, which run from Friday June 3 through Sunday July 2, offer the chance to explore a ton of different aspects of Cleveland history.

That includes its music history, and there’s an event taking place at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Library & Archives on the Tri-C Metro campus aiming to make people more aware of what it’s doing to preserve and archive the music history in its own back yard with the NEO Sound project.

From 4-7pm, members of the library and archives staff will be on hand to show you what their collection includes relating to Cleveland music artists and its constellation of music-related entities such as radio stations, venues, recording studios, record labels, booking agencies and more, with recordings, publications, photos, printed materials and memorabilia. Learn what resources are available to research any area of the local music scene of interest to you.

The event is free; however, registration is requested. Go here.
