We’re pretty much all looking forward to those outdoor summer concerts where we can hang out on the beach or in a park on a balmy evening and move to the sounds of a popular local band like Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band, one of the mainstays of summer music series such as Wade Oval Wednesdays and Music in the Meadow.
We don’t know yet if any of that will be on the schedule this summer, although there’s a good chance there will be some live local music. Meanwhile, get in the spirit and get an early fix of those warm-weather vibes when the P.L.U.S. band streams a show live from the Music Box Supper Club, dispelling the winter/pandemic blues with a big dose of their sunny, high-energy, body-rocking reggae. It will immediately follow an episode of The Cleveland Beat Show, both sponsored by Music America, and will be hosted by Dawn Kendrick.
It’s free to watch, and home audiences can take part by participating in contests and trivial questions. Go here to listen.
