Cleveland Metroparks has a full schedule of concerts this summer at multiple locations featuring artists ranging from cover bands to talented original singer-songwriters. It kicked off in mid-June and runs through mid-August at locations such as Huntington Beach, the Emerald Necklace Marina, and the East 55th Street Marina, with local food trucks and Metroparks concessions at many of the locations.
Some of the most popular concerts are those taking place at Edgewater Beach, which will host two this summer (An earlier one was cancelled due to gunfire at the beach the previous weekend.) And this Thursday, the first of those will host the king of Cleveland summer shows, Carlos Jones, and his P.L.U.S. Band. There’s something about their sunny-day reggae and positive vibes that means summer to a big chunk of area music fans who’ll be sure to pack the beach for this show. Swimming and other water activities will be available, and there’s room to park a bunch of food trucks.
It’s free of course.
