If you need a little pick-me-up to unwind after a stressful holiday season, there’s no better tonic than the annual Carlos Jones Holiday Revival, taking place at the Music Box Supper Club. There Cleveland’s favorite reggae artist and his P.L.U.S. Band will be “Bringing the message of peace, love, unity, higher consciousness and the joy of the reggae vibration.”

After 20 years, the P.L.U.S. Band continues to be one of the area’s biggest draws, especially at outdoor summer events such as Wade Oval Wednesdays and the Painesville Party in the Park, where it attracts record crowds. They’ve just released a live album of their show at PlayhouseSquare’s Star Plaza in September that captures some of that magic, as well as a recording of the holiday song “Christmas … the Way It Used To Be.” The group has also started work on a new studio album to be released next year.

Come on down — the vibes should be warm and mellow. In addition, you can arrive early and have some dinner. Davidione Perle’s Daddy Longlegs Homegrown Revival will open with their distinctive reggae/blues/funk/salsa/Zydeco hybrid. Doors are at 7pm; show’s at 8. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
