The Shaker Arts Council is again offering its holiday shop, this year as a virtual pop-up event.
Instead of a room filled with items, you can go to their website, choose a category such as accessories, ceramics, drawing, jewelry, mixed media, paper goods, painting and photography, and browse the offerings by arts. You’ll find everything from creative masks to tintypes by noted fine arts photographer Herbert Ascherman.
The best part is that you then contact the artist directly to make a purchase, with the nonprofit Shaker Arts Council merely acting as a matchmaker.
