Halloween anticipation is probably building to a fever pitch in homes with young children. Siphon off some of that antsiness with an early hit of the holiday at the Akron Art Museum’s Trick or Treat on High Street.
Tell them to get their costumes on, if in fact they’re not already wearing them 24/7, and come on down to take part in some fun, creative activities. They include a “monster mash” dance party, art-making in the lobby, and trick-or-treating for trinkets in the gallery (good news, parents — no sugar!) Kids will also get to meet some interesting characters in the galleries.
It’s free for members, $12 for non-members, and kids must bring an adult. Registration is required at AAM_tricktreat19. No face covering-costumes please!
