Ensemble Theatre’s Colombi New Plays Festival is back for the first time since the pandemic. It offers two evenings of performances of short plays by local playwrights, taking at Notre Dame College’s Performing Arts Center, with a different program each night.
On Friday March 29, you can see Rannigan Walsh’s 45-minute Reunion, and Split Decision by Kitty Dubin, a 25-minute play. On Saturday March 30, the plays include Berenice Kleiman’s Heaven’s Gate (10 minutes) and Powerball (10 minutes), Jonathon Morgan’s I Can’t Even Hear What You Are Saying to Me Right Now (15 minutes), Agnes Herrmann’s Nudity Required (10 minutes), and Kitty Dubin’s It’s My Party (15 minutes).
The second weekend of the festival, April 5-7, features a completely different lineup of short plays and takes place at Disciplines Christian Church.
