Cleveland Ballet’s summer season mini-tour of northeast Ohio outdoor spaces outdoor continues with an event at the Akron Civic Theatre’s Bud & Susie Rogers Garden. It’s the first time the company has performed at the space.
There it will perform a piece it world-premiered during its regular 2022-23 season at Playhouse Square, called Symphony of Life. The choreography by ex-Mariinsky dancer/choreographer Ilia Zhivoi is danced to a score commissioned from Israeli-Ukrainian composer Anna Segal.
There’s a VIP reception at 5pm, prior to the 6:30 performance. Get regular lawn and plaza tickets, as well as VIP tickets, here.
